Iris Neomarica Caerulea "Regina" Tropical!

There are about 200 different species of Iris scattered worldwide, because of the intense interest in just a few of the species, gardeners probably know fewer of these flowers than any other popular group Everything is dominated by our passion for oversized, “bigger is better” especially for the tall Bearded Iris .
This Iris "The Regina" blooms only for one day but it gives a spectacular show, the whole plant is usually full of blooms.

Another point of the Regina Iris is that each of the stalks propagates a new plant, as can be seen above.
After the plant has completed blooming the stem can be cut and the new plant potted.

The Regina can make a really nice show especially next to a water feature.
