“For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?”
Everything we have comes from God, so that means whatever we desire will always come from Him because He is the maker of all things, even ideas and this is why we should look up to God rather than to humans. There is this Chinese quotes that say: *”Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Enlighten him further; he owns a chain of seafood restaurants. God won’t only release what it takes for that moment, but he will release what will take care of moments after. We might think short-term but God always thinks long term.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has plans for you and He has your whole life planned out. When you are going on a journey and you don’t know the way out, you trust the map or anyone who has an idea of the route, isn’t it? God knows the end from the beginning and He can trace the beginning from the end. Trust Him and ask Him for all that you need. Know His plans for your life and ask accordingly and you will have your needs, desires and even unspoken requests met because He knows how to make everything better.
