Korfanty 10 km race - And the winner is… NOT ME!

Jak zapowiadałam w poprzednim wpisie na temat XXV Biegu Korfantego tak dziś czas na podsumowanie.

Pogoda dopisała, a wręcz zrobiło się upalne lato gdzie ciężko biegać szybko, zwłaszcza gdy trenowało się w niższych temperaturach.

Na starcie biegu 21-go kwietnia stanęło prawie 1400 biegaczy, a więc o 100 więcej niż rok temu.

Mój numer startowy był numerem 710.

Pechowy numer

Wywalczyłam 110 miejsce open i 4 miejsce w mojej kategorii wiekowej czyli K-20.
Uzyskany czas to: 43:14, a poziom zadowolenia niski. W 2017 roku na tej samej trasie, ale pomylonej o dodatkowe 300 metrów uzyskałam czas lepszy od tegorocznego, a w 2015 roku czas 43:45.

Na pewno pogoda była tu czynnikiem sprawczym, jednak również moja dyspozycja tego dnia nie była najlepsza, wyszło zmęczenie całym poprzednim miesiącem. Aktualnie czas na odpoczynek w postaci lekkiego tygodnia i walczę dalej! Wierzę, że cel czyli 41 minut jest wciąż możliwy do osiągnięcia w tej części sezonu.

As I said before today I would like to share with you a story from Korfanty Run. The weather was good, but it was like hot summer when it is too hot for fast running especially when I have trained just few days ago in low temperature.
At the start there was about 1400 runners so at least 100 more than in 2017.
My start number was: 710 and I have achieved 110 place open and 4th in my age category (woman in age 20-29).
I have run 10 km in 43:14 minutes and I was not happy about this time as a year before in the same race but with additional 300 meters due to mistake I have run this distance in 43:05. In 2015 I have run this race in 43:45.
I think that the weather had big influence on my time and also I was a little bit tired this day due to lots of trainings during the month. Now I would like to rest in this week and I will be fighting again! I believe that my goal 41 minutes on 10 kilometers is still achievable in this part of the season.
