If he ever attempts to sue you or take you to court, do it. It will be our best chance to get Alefantis into a court room and be able to get a discovery done on him to see if the allegations we made are true or false. We know they are true, so do it. Let him "take you to court" which he would never do.

I hope you come out of this OK, but I question the wisdom of going to war with this guy knowing that he has powerful friends that are much better connected than you. What did you think the outcome would be... did you think he would just roll over and admit his wrongdoings? Scum like that never do. Personally, I'd be far more worried of his friends coming after you than being sued. I really hope you prevail in this and you and your family are safe. These are bad, bad people and I hope that they're stopped, but you're fighting against a huge machine that in entrenched in American politics and society- that's been operating for at least decades.
