101 ~ 500 SP: 500 points

501 SP and above: 1,000 points

However, even for fake connections with newly created accounts, 100 points are still being credited.
Of course, it’s not 1,000 — but still, logically, it should be zero.

So wouldn't it be better to adjust the system like this?

Proposed system:

0 ~ 10 SP: 0 points

10 ~ 100 SP: 100 points

101 ~ 500 SP: 500 points

501 SP and above: 1,000 points

Because it’s very easy (and unfair) to receive 100 points for nothing — just by creating a new account with 0 SP.
