"A Broad View of the World" Exhibition

The Openening Ceremony

I was invited to the opening ceremony of the "A Broad View of the World" solo photography exhibition of Shu Weiping.

The exhibition took place in the Dongmen Public Gallery which is one of the original buildings on the Dongmen square. The square is at the heart of Dongmen and therefore an ideal place to have an exhibition - you will most likely get thousands of feet every day admiring your exhibition.

From the title of the exhibition, it was apparent that this is a photo travel exhibition, and I was quite surprised to see that this photographer's travels included a visit to Namibia - the neighbour of my home country, South Africa.

Some other destinations include India, the Middle East and several European destinations. Definitely a world traveller!
