Two of the great currents that emerged in the 20th century in the singular world of visual arts have emerged as two extremes in the relationship between art and reality. On the one hand, in the first decades of the last century the first experiments are presented around a painting that did not seek to reproduce reality but to create worlds never seen before. It was Abstract Art. On the other hand, in the middle of the century of the two great wars, an artistic current arises that tries to reproduce meticulously with all the details the elements of reality. In this case we are talking about Hyperrealism.

I wanted to share with you this couple of photos I made with my modest and old-fashioned Samsung because it seems to me that it shows a reality that depends on your point of view for its interpretation. It's actually the hood of an old car that was in a mechanic's workshop, waiting to be repaired.

The disturbing capacity of art can be found in any corner. It only depends on our eyes.
