I've been reading a lot lately about how family portraits are vital to a child's sense of self-worth and belonging, and how seeing themselves in a portrait on the wall, surrounded by family, lets them know every day that they are loved, even when times get tough. They are subtly reminded that they have a safe place to call "home" and people on which they can depend.
Sweet little Peyton has joined one force of a family! They're a kind and loving group, with a grandpa who is a talented photographer himself and parents who love to display portraits in every space of their home. She is going to know exactly where she belongs!
We first met Peyton's Mom & Dad when we photographed their beautiful wedding just a few years ago. Since then, we have enjoyed having them and many other family members in front of our camera for family and senior portrait sessions. We get so much joy from watching this family grow together!
