Grand Architecture of Fountains Abbey

Fountains Abbey is one of my favourite examples of an Abbey that I have ever seen. I really enjoyed writing a post on it last week and managed to get some awesome shots in the sunshine! This shot was taken looking up from the nave of the Abbey at the row of archways towering above me. It is one of the most impressive places I have ever seen and even just standing in its grounds in an honour. I took this shot with my Canon 6D and 17-40mm lens to make the most of the wide angle! My entry for today's #architecutralphotography contest by @juliank and @photocontests!
