MyPictureDay : The Taraweeh Prayer
The Muslims of Banda Aceh attend the Ramadan Taraweeh prayer at Al-Makmur Mosque, Lampriek, Banda Aceh. The religious atmosphere on the last 10 nights of the Ramadan 1439 Hijri / 2018 AD. The mosque is better known as the Oman Mosque. Design and architecture built in Middle Eastern style.
Giving Oman's name to the mosque due to the construction assistance is borne entirely by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman. The mosque built on the former mosque that was badly damaged by the earthquake followed by tsunami waves struck Aceh and the Indian Ocean in December 2004.
