Family Fishing at Anclote Gulf Pier
Out Fishin' with the Boys
Recently the weather in my home state of Florida has been fabulous and I've had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my family.
The other day my bf and I took my son and my bf's nephew to the fishing pier at Anclote Gulf Park.
The sun was shining, the sky was clear and the fish were biting.
It wasn't long before the first fish of the day was caught, a mangrove snapper.
As boys will be boys, the fishing soon turned into a competition with uncle/ @liberty-minded assisting both sides!
In addition to the mangrove snapper, we also caught a needlefish (me) and a few pinfish.
The boys had tons of fun learning about catch-and-release fishing. My son was casting like a champ by the end of the adventure and @liberty-minded's nephew was baiting his own hook with live shrimp!
