Monochrome Monday

Two of the cutest things in the world, my daughter's feet. I had a 'free' day from work today (means working from home doing paperwork) and spent a lot of it chasing my little girl around.

She is not quite walking yet but still seems to move a touch slower than a cheetah on the run.

She has such a personality too. Happy all of the time until hungry and then she again moves fast. 0-100, laughter to screaming in seconds.

For those without children who think crying babies are annoying, it really is different when they are your own. It almost doesn't register as a bad noise at all, just something to react to. At least for me.

When she had severe allergic reactions every day for 6 months (a long story but allergic to anything my wife ate), I would hold her for hours so she and my wife could sleep and then go to work the next day on no more than a couple hours rest. For months on end.

Still, those times are very special for me and it helped me understand myself in many new ways too. I am much stronger in some ways for it and that can only be good for her. Maybe that was her plan all along.

There's nothing better than a beautiful photo of your baby's tiny feet. It captures all aspects of cuteness!

I find it really impressive how often you post without compromising quality.

Tell everyone else too :)

Really, thank you so much as it is a huge compliment. I have so much in my head I could sit all day and write if it wasn't for the 10000 other things I should also do.

I spend quite a lot of time developing my content with a lot of it kind of like an ongoing conversation in my head. I have done it this way since young with the challenge being able to get it down with enough clarity before it fades from memory. I lose a lot of good ideas that way.

I am glad that you enjoy it though and thanks again for the support as it does help make the next round possible.

Baby feet are my favorite. I just love them!

They could be used in personality tests to identify psychopaths. Anyone that doesn't smile or say aaaww should be locked up. ;)

Haha, for sure. They were always my favorite part of my boys to kiss and play with. Grown up feet on the other hand....ick. It must be the virgin quality of those little toes and puffy pads, never having walked or been really dirty. I dont know. Baby feet are just the cutest though. Enjoy your little girl. They dont stay little for long. ....even though sometimes it may seem like forever. (ie, those sleepless nights or hours of crying)

We are organising to take her clothes to a flea market this week. Besides having a small mountain load, looking at how small they are it is hard to imagine she was ever able to get in them. And they were loose on her.

I agree with adult feet. I really do not understand foot fetishes. To each their own though.

Smart child, training dad as she goes. Thanks for the beautiful photo and great post. Greatly enjoy your writings, a new discovery, and follower.

I think the operative word in your first sentence is 'she'. I think the ability to train is genetic.

You are welcome anytime and it is appreciated. I offer quite a diverse range overall so hopefully you find something to sink your teeth into.

I remember my daughter when she was a months old before.. So delicate.

I think it will be the difficulty I will remember fondly in the years to come.

Thank you for your support.
