Exploring Delhi

It was Republic day in India on the 26th of January and me and my flatmates finally got a holiday after a long time, so we decided to go out and explore Delhi a bit. We planned to go to National Museum but when we reached there, it was closed because of the public holiday. So we decided to ho to a place nearby called Agrasen ki Baoli which was built during the medival times by King Agrasen.

It is a 60 metre long and 15 metre wide step which was used to store the water during the scarcity.

Then we decided to go Hauz Khas which was built by Allaudin Khilji. There is also a deer park so wen went in there to watch deers. We found plenty of good looking deers along with peacocks.

We then went to Jama Masjid for dinner and finally came back.
