in #photography6 years ago

The Nativity set are made each year in order to conmemorate the coming of Jesus to this world...

this tradition comes from Italy and it was due Saint. Francis of Assisiy and taken from the priests of his order to other countries ...

According to old traditions, the nativity set are made any day after December the 7th and this because is the day of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, however in some countries they are any day in December or even last days of November...

Baby Jesus is not set until December the 24th at midnight and the Wise Men are set from the beginning but they are being moving closer and closer to the place baby Jesus is, until January the 6th where they arrive and are set in the manger.

The nativity set is maintain until February the 2nd when is retired that is the day of the Virgin of Candelaria...

So in many homes in Venezuela the Nativity set is still there until February the 2nd.

I hope you like this post.
