The Amazing Colours of the Pig Face.

This beautiful looking flower goes by the unflattering nickname of Pig Face, but it's proper name is karkalla or (Carpobrotus rossii). This succulent is native to Australia and found all around coastal sand dunes, it is a very tough plant which is drought and salt resistant.

The plant was eaten by the Australian Aboriginals either raw or cooked and is said to have many health benefits.

they look alright...i think i have seen some of them too...they dont deserve the nick name they have...
