The second is particularly lovely in light of the advent of spring. How we do look forward to the sunshine and in this photograph it promises that it will.
I should have mentioned that the idea of this little play around was to go into the extremes and to render the original into something completely artificial. The intersting thing with the second one is that the lack of image information in the underexposed area is "visualised". The resulting imperfections let this one appear as if it was painted.

I agree, I don't like the noisy foreground in 2,3, and 4. But the first one is nice.
I tend to Number 1, too. It´s pretty much the unaltered original. I just removed the chemtrails :-)
2 is pushed to much,
3 to much in color
and imho green base color in a landscape feels a little bit alienesque...
Number 1 reminds more of landscape like Caspar David Friedrichs would have painted..

If you want to do something into the extremes play with the curve settings LR..
Try a zic zac curve for instance..

Indeed some can get painterly effects just with LR processing..
Have you tried to use Lens correction not to make the image better but to distort it??
I use LR for artistic purposes like that since some years, thus we can exchange on that if you are interested
