What a lovely post! This style of buildings and locality really gives me such an old English vibes .... I love it very much <3 The photos are really niiiice, I think ! I dont know how some people can take such photos with their phones, my camera phone always gives me crappy shots XD

Thank you veryspider. I'm so glad you enjoyed the mini-tour around the Georgian area of my town.

I had a really bad camera on my last phone but this S7 is so good it has got me excited about photography again. When the lens is decent it encourages you to think about perspective etc.

I got some amazing pics in the city centre last night in the early hours of the morning after a night out. Ha ha, the hangover is so bad that I postponed making a post about them until tomorrow 😉

Thanks again for checking out my post

Anytime I get a new phone (which frankly happen approximately every 4 years), I am so excited to try out the new camera. I see that I'm not the only one :)

I like that you took different perspectives and that you used various functions. I usually don't do panoramas unless I'm somewhere in the mountains as it takes me so long that there is always someone walking by or a car passing by :)

My favorite photo is the last one. The weather wasn't that good so B/W made it look even more dramatic..

Thank you for sharing! I wish you a lot of great photos with your new phone :)

Cheers delishtreats

This is my first new phone in 5 years and the one I'd been using, a Motorola, had a pretty awful camera.

This phone has got me excited about photography again. I got some amazing pics in the city centre last night in the early hours of the morning after a night out. I'd read that the s7 has a really good low light lens, but I only realised how good after experimenting last night.

Ha ha, the hangover is so bad today that I have postponed making a post about them until tomorrow 😉

Thanks for checking out my posts 🙂

Nice to see the streets of Liverpool. Never been. Been to London and was blown away. It looks like Liverpool has its own great architectural works. Very nice:)

Hi Prydefoltz.

Yeah, it is very similar architecture to central London. We only have that area then two more streets that are similar but the waterfront is better than the Thames to my mind 😉

Glad I could share the tour with you.

Hey @raj808

Great shots my friend. Liverpool has some really great place to take pics. I confess I have only been there for football.

You have chosen a beaut of a camera with the Galaxy S series. My daughter has the 9 and it's phenomenal.

Cheers, Gaz

Hi Gaz

Yeah, I was looking at the S9 but couldn't afford it. Tbh, I got this S7 handset free with a new contract.

I'm so pleased with the camera that I'm going to do more of these photography posts I think.

If ur ever in the city for the football holler at me on here and maybe we could meet & chat steem over a pint in the pub opposite St George's hall m8.

Cheers 🙂

I'd love that mate. I will be sure to give you a shout. Don't hold your breath though. The last time my team Bristol Rovers played either team up there was the mid nineties! Lol. I guess we have more chance of playing Boston or Tranmere. I'll have to find a different excuse. 😁

My daughter got the s9 as a huge treat for working her socks off at school for the year. To be fair to her she bought her first phone (iPhone 5) by selling off lots of old toys and games.

The camera in that series is always too notch. I have bought a Xiaomi mi8 and I'm really pleased with the camera on it. It cant quite compete with yours but for £260 it's a bargain.

Great testing of the camera! :-) It's valuable to have a camera that's good and on your phone, since you'll have it always with you - not too many photo opportunities will be missed by you anymore :-)

Hi Rosa 👋

This is my first new phone in 5 years and the one I'd been using, a Motorola, had a pretty awful camera. I'm really made up with this one as it has got me excited about photography again. I just have to be careful not end up always looking at everything through a virtual lens 🙂

The camera of the new phone you just bought must be really great and clear because the pictures looks great

Cheers I'm glad you enjoyed the pics 🙂

It is defiantly a big upgrade of phone for me. My last one had a rubbish camera lol

It really is amazing just how good the cameras have gotten on phones these days! I had an older version of the Galaxy for my last phone and was really impressed with it, as well. Great captures of this interesting spot!

Thank you plantstoplanks 🙂

Great photos! I didn't realize that Liverpool had all that interesting architecture!

Hi rwedegis

Yeah, Liverpool has decent architecture, and especially period Georgian buildings. We have a lot of filming happening in the city for that reason. Also, parts of the docks are like a scene from the walking dead lol

A different type architecture, but interesting in it's own way. Finally I have a camera to do it all justice I'm gonna do more of these photography posts 🙂

Thanks for stopping by to check out St George's hall
