small trip to Korkino lake district

On Saturday we made a leizure trip outside of the city to a countryside, to the lake district just 30 mins away from St.Petersburg, named Korkino. The weather was extreemely hot and sunny, and suddenly, it happened that like half of the city went there to get some pleasure-leisure, too. Insted of a 30 minute car ride we had a 2 hours snail-pace travel... for good or bad I decided not to take the pics of the traffic jam, but it was memorable... eventually our bus make it thru the wrong lane; otherwise we may still were stuck there.

I didnt take load of pics, my primary task was to accompany children and to graze / entertain them. But when I got home I discovered I've nailed some good shots nevertheless... So, my ladies go first.

Note the funny thing which is not obvious (I noticed it later, watching the pics). Each girl was eating ice-cream in her own, unique way: #1 picked out pieces with her fingers (!) ; #2 used a fork (!!!) and #3 handled it all solely with her mouth and tongue. The process was spread in time and not reflected well in any single shot.

I gave them plastic sabers, showed a couple of tricks, and sit back with camera to enjoy their successful self-educating fencing lesson.

My baby produced extremely funny quote I will remember. She said: 'Daddy, I never sailed on the inflatable mattress before, this is the happiest day of my life!!" Really, a funny and surprising statement...

I also conducted a giant-soup-bubbles-producing-session, but unfortunately it wasnt as successful as I hoped... and its me to blame: I spoiled the recipe a bit... anyway, it is very special subject, and I will devote a special post to it.

The rest are just strangers. A lot of Russians with tattoes and without them.

A lot of families bring in their hookahs -- there is quite a strong demand for this stuff. Somehow I missed the moment when they became so popular here.

This lady is trying to help her smartphone to establish a connection. The higher is always the better... This picture is hardly indicative, one cannot embrace all the thousand cars crowded at the parking lot... which is not a lot at all, just an edge of a forest.

I captured some meals that were maturing on the campfires: sweet peppers, eggplants ... and even bananas.

@papilloncharity, why sorry? it was a good day, full of memories. one thing I slightly regret is soup-bubbles, this time had no top success, but no problem -- next time I will act better! :P

@qwerrie not about the fencing lessons. Sorry I was in a hurry and didn't elaborate. The whole outing thing. Kids doing stuff. Memories and such. Something just triggered my brain when I saw your photos and I was taken back to memories like these if my childhood. Great pictures

Озеро там хорошее, многолюдие , конечно, излишне) Но что делать, народу много и всем хочется)))
А снимки похожи на аналоговые, это результат обработки?

да, я ~~всегда~~ очень часто тонирую ч-б, и не автоматом, а вручную. нравится мне это. те картинки к-е не сепия, а слегка красно-фиолетовые, с сиреневато-синеватым небольшим отливом, по идее должны напоминать плёнку ColorPan. по идее. а уж что получается, в каждом отдельном случае, это конечно вопрос )) @bambuka

спасибо! рад, что понравилось.

про озеро: нам понравилась погода, вода, и не понравилось все остальное. спуск в воду плохой и много грязи, я вот ногу себе пропорол стоя на дне на какой-то коряге. сейчас ползаю-хромаю ) даже главное преимущество - что оно рядом с городом - оказалось обнулено. причем, все это было проделано за нормальные такие денежки, вовсе не бесплатно... не, проще и приятнее будет другое место, чем это, в следующий раз.

я там раньше бывал, пока его не арендовал кто-то и деньгу драть начал. Озеро хорошее, но уже запоганено. А уж когда на водных мотоциклах гонять начинают... Это уж проще в Озерки податься)) На одном из трёх озёр можно место себе облюбовать.
А я на Перешеек на озёра езжу. Тоже народа хватает, но есть уголки спокойные.

соглашусь, лучше подальше, но получше. перешеек - прекрасен! мы стараемся на Ладогу ездить. раз в год получается. у меня ладожских фоток много, потихоньку выкладываю. там очень красиво. @bambuka

тоже хочу на Ладогу, но на её север, туда, где камни и вода. Надеюсь в это лето получится, надо ещё погоду поймать)) Вот уж там тогда поснимаю вволю ))

ессно, северная! шхеры и только они! а как ты туда попадаешь? своим ходом?
у нас есть группа вк, к которой мы присоединяемся каждый год. могу тебе дать наводку. в этот раз у нас на выбор 2 5-дневные поездки, но боюсь на ту что в августе я не попадаю банально из-за того что отпуска не дадут, а на июльскую не могу тебя пригласить потому что все места там уже разобраны наглухо заранее. так что наводку все равно дам, но вместе поучаствовать не получится.

я туда пока никак не попадал)) но хочу. Если получится со временем и погодой, то машиной, конечно. Надо ещё жену замотивировать)За группу в ВК благодарствую, но скорее всего не надо ) Хотя, всякое бывает. В природе вообще люблю один быть, поскольку пропадаю надолго, желающих разделить со мной поход почти и нет))) Вот выйду в лес утром, а вернусь под вечер. Я ближе к волку-одиночке, видимо)) А ещё нравиться попадать в незнакомые места и порой даже без компаса)))
