At the top, Burj Khalifa (Dubai) - highest structure in the world
I was to United Arab Emirates already two times, last time was in the previous year (2017). I visited Abu Dabi as well as Dubai, the latter is known for the tallest structure in the world.
There are at the moment 4 buildings higher than 600 m, which are currently standing - it includes two skyscrapers, one steel tower and one offshore platform. There are lot of guyed masts, high for circa 600 meters, but of course it's not possible to go up by stairs through them.

Till year 1991, tallest human-built structure was the 'Warsaw Radio Mast' located in Poland, but unfortunatly it collaped the same year.

More interesting facts about Burj Khalifa - Facts & figures
I love this turquoise color of water behind modern skyscrapers.
When I was at the observation deck at the first time, I was expecting to clearly see a horizon (and its curve). Unfortunatly, it's not that easy, as it requires very good weather conditions.
Burj Khalifa's observation deck is always full of people. Emirati people are proud about their city, especially about the fact that here are buildings which are said to be "wonders of the new world". Entrance to the Burj Khalifa is located in the 'Dubai Mall' and the queue is always quite long, but definitly worth it!
This is us. It was our first trip together to the Souther-east Asia, and UAE was a stop over for couple of days. We visited my Filipino friend, who lives here.
