Latex Shoot - Oh you are in town, let´s meet..... do you bring your camera?,.......We could have a photo session?

...and my answer was: Ok, why not.

It´s 2012 and i was visiting Berlin by accident and a friend suggested a spontaneous "let´s meet". I was always kind of trigger-happy with my Canon EOS at that time. So my model friend Viola Tor highly recommended a photosession at her place. Creative things are always attractive to me anyway. It took me a moment with the Berlin S-Bahn to reach from the center to the so called Treptower Park area, which is kind of calm in contrast to Berlin´s city center. But i am a child from the country side and felt a bit like home being surrounded by woods and bushes.

So after a talk and some pizza we got it startet. And guess what. It´s was catsuit time again. Viola dressed up ultra quick. She´s a real "pro" concerning latex! And we went into the "wilderness" and did a little artful set up.

Viola wore a catsuit and corset from Fantastic Rubber. A cool latex clothing company in Berlin´s suburbs called Panketal.

After a little photographical warm up results poured into my lens. I liked the contrast of an artificial material like latex against the forest´s vegetation. Though latex is a natural product of a tree´s juice actually. But the sleek surface of rubber against the chaotic nature of trees and bushes is interesting to look at. The only thing i had to equalize it a bit is my 50mm lens at f-stop 1.4 to blur out the structurs in the background.

Of course we had fun and some pictures went sort of crazy. But experimenting in a relaxing environment is important to me. So we tried things which look funny, but you try them anyway. :-D

After some exposures Viola had the glorious idea to cover herself into leafs of ivy, which turned out to be pretty cool. Because it went along very nice with the contrast of latex and nature i mentioned before. In addition green and red embrace each other beautifully in that composition. And the lens made the background go very far away into a blurriness by depth of field.

In the following shot i lifted her onto a tree log so she posed laying infront of bare wood right next to her.

But as every photo session. It had to come to an end :-)

So the wig, catsuit and everything had to be pulled off again and we went for some ice cream!!
