Architectural Photography: Kravare Chateau, hidden Baroque gem of Silesia

Through my entry for today´s #architecturalphotography contest hosted by @juliank, I would like to introduce you to one of the most beautiful chateaus in the Silesian part of the Czech Republic, the famous Kravare Chateau.

Situated in the little town of Kravare in the Silesian part of the Czech Republic, the Kravare Chateau is a majestic Baroque chateau whose origins date back to the 17th century.

While the exteriors of the chateau are stunningly beautiful and photogenic as the entire building is nicely exposed to your camera with no trees or anything obstructing the view, make sure to visit the inside of the chateau too as it houses the Chateau Museum where you can learn more about the history and culture of the town and the region.

Surrounded by magnificent French parks, gardens and golf courses, the chateau is a perfect destination for a bike trip as it is the final station of a superb bike lane known as "Slezska Magistrala" that runs from the town of Krnov through my hometown Opava up to Kravare, covering a total length of over 35 km (22 mi).
