Some strange friendships!steemCreated with Sketch.

Ever thought that a little Cape White Eye and a Striped Field Mouse would dine together?

It was a great occasion in the late afternoon to see the harmony that exists in our garden. Strange habits indeed, as normally birds and mice have no time for each other, but in this case I was proven wrong, as the smallest of the smallest don't mind each others company. Could this perhaps be a lesson to us regarding humbleness and acceptance?
Let's have a look!

They also seemed to keep a lookout for each other, as one eats and the other watches!

And here a little Cape Sparrow also joins the party!

Really some strange dining partners that we see here!

Each one took a turn and there was no crowding, jostling or fighting, almost like they sensed that there was enough for everyone. No rushing to be first in the queue and no claims of mine. mine. mine. What a show of humanity towards each other and it was definitely an eye opener to watch this. If only we can learn anything from this show, then my job is done! Selah!

We hope you have enjoyed the pictures and thank you for visiting a post by @papilloncharity

Note; On Saturday The Papillon Foundation in a partnership with the Building Bridges mentoring project are hosting a Christmas party for 60 little poor children. We have bought enough gifts and sweets for everyone and the contents of this post is what we will teach the little ones!

Small in stature with huge message about sharing, what a lovely shot of the three together Stephen.

Thank you Lady Joan and I certainly hope the message bears fruit somewhere! Blessings!

Wow, all for one , one for all #teamwork
These kind of animals are very unusual to see together

I like your "all for one, one for all" Lady Joy and the little ones live in perilous times, as there are many big raptors (birds of prey) around. They have learnt to gather together and to keep a watch out for each other. Something that we as humans are also supposed to do. Blessings!

wow amazing photograph..
great friendship my friend.. Nice click..

Glad you liked it my friend! Blessings!

A lovely parable.
I have a Whydah bird who has cleared the 60 plus tiny bronze mannikens from the bird feeder! Like a stealth bomber he moves in.......aaargh!

Thank you and the amazing thing is that we also have a Pin-tailed Whydah here in our garden. We call him "Sixy" because of his many wives and they defend their territory like diving demons. For some reason he never bombs the little white eyes, or the field mice. I have even seen him tackle doves and pigeons. I have posted about him here on our page before!
