💐💐💐 Gentle salvia 💐💐💐

in #photography5 years ago

Good day to all who looked at my blog!

I can not even believe that a week or two ago, it was so warm and the abundance of flowers was pleasing to the eye! Now there are mostly chrysanthemums and asters! And a little more resistant sage, which I love very much! A huge number of species and varieties appeared in recent years, thanks to our breeders. We know him more like sage, but his name is Salvia! A very gentle and beautiful name however, like the plant itself!) I say it is gentle, because today I have pink salvia, not the red spikelets that we used to see in flowerbeds. With other species I will introduce you later.

From the family of yasnotkovyh - this plant can be found almost around the world. Here and the entire American continent and Asia, as well as Europe and Eastern Siberia. Depending on the species, the height of the plant varies. In nature, there are mostly perennial species that reach a meter in height. In our country, it is more grown as an annual.

Every year, gardeners' love for this beautiful plant only increases. It is absolutely not whimsical, does not require any special knowledge, even a novice gardener can handle it. The main thing that is worth remembering about sage, is that it is a rather moisture-loving plant, which still prefers to grow in sunny, warm areas. Although not demanding on the soil, it is still better to choose loose soil, as for any plant it is only a plus. Growing up in such a soil is definitely easier.

Fertilizers are best used before planting, because if you fertilize abundantly during flowering, such as humus, you can achieve the opposite effect, the foliage will actively grow, which in itself serves as a decoration for the bush. But the inflorescences will not be as much as we would like. But maybe we just somehow happened. Because one of the bushes grows more in the shade of the floor and with fertilizer Mommy overdone. Because those that grow more in the open sun, flowering brighter and more abundant. And the compost was brought there almost twice less.

Here is a beautiful and delicate plant. Hope you liked the pictures!
