Plants are one of the classifications of living things. Plants have chlorophyll or green leaf substance that serves as a food-creation medium and for the process of photosynthesis. In the biological sciences, plants including organisms called Regnum Plantaeyang are multicellular organisms or composed of many cells. Recorded about 350,000 species of plants, of which 258,650 species are flowering plants and 18,000 species including moss plants. Almost all plant members are autotrophic and get direct energy from sunlight through the process of photosynthesis.

Only plant cells have large plastids and vacuoles and often dominate cell volume.
