OLD MONASTIC GROUNDS MONTACUTE UK
I walk past this beautiful old structure every morning when I walk my dog. It sits at the foot of an old iron age hill fort and is truly a stunning structure. The area around it has a history of settlement dating back 10,000 years and at one point Montacute and was rumored to be the place the Holy Grail was hidden. This building was built around the the early 16th century and is always a pleasure to observe standing silent and beautiful. I often wonder how much it's seen in its time.
