questo è un viaggio attraverso l'Italia. Posterò una foto al giorno con una brevissima descrizione.

Roccabianca è un piccolo borgo nella provincia di Parma, nella regione settentrionale italiana dell'Emilia-Romagna. Questo villaggio, che sorge tra le rive del fiume Po e le anse formate dal fiume Taro, è probabilmente il borgo medievale di "Rezinoldo" o "Arzenoldo" che Federico Barbarossa lasciò in eredità come proprietà ai Pallavicini nel XII secolo.
Il nome "Roccabianca" fu dato in onore di Bianca Pellegrini, l'amata di Pier Maria Rossi; lui fece costruire il castello per lei tra il 1450 e il 1465. La torre centrale e due torri angolari dominano l'enorme struttura a pianta quadrata.
Grazie ad alcuni lavori di restauro all'interno della Sale dei Feudi, dei Paesaggi, dei Quattro Elementi e della Sala Rangoni, sono emerse molte importanti decorazioni.
Un recente restauro ha riportato alla luce bellissime decorazioni affrescate ed emblemi araldici nel portico di fronte alla famosa sala di Griselda, dove sulle pareti sono state affrescate le vicende della centesima novella del Decamerone. È sede del Museo della Distilleria.
Di fronte al castello si trova la vecchia piazza del mercato, una struttura formata da portici del XVIII secolo.
Sull'altro lato della piazza si trova la Chiesa dedicata ai Santi Bartlomeo e Michele che risale al XVI secolo e che fu completamente ristrutturata nel XVII secolo.

Roccabianca is a small town in the province of Parma, in the Northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. This village, lying between the banks of the Po River and the loops formed by the Taro River, is probably the medieval village of "Rezinoldo" or "Arzenoldo" that Federico Barbarossa bequeathed as an estate upon the Pallavicini family in the 12th C.
It was named “Roccabianca” after Bianca Pellegrini, Pier Maria Rossi’s beloved; he had the castle built for her between 1450 and 1465. The central tower and two angular towers dominate the huge and square structure.
Thanks to some restauring works within the Sale dei Feudi, dei Paesaggi, dei Quattro Elementi and the Sala Rangoni, many important decorations came to light.
A recent restauration has brought to light beautiful frescoed decorations and heraldic emblems in the portico in front of Griselda's famous room, with the modern reconstruction of the painted cycle, inspired to Boccaccio's hundredth novella. Its home to the Museum of Distillery.
In front of the Castle is the old Market Square, an 18th century structure of porticoes.
On another side of the square is the Parish Church dedicated to Saints Bartlomeo and Michele which dates back to the 16th century and was restructured in the 17th century.
Thing to see: The historical center, The Roccabianca Castle, the old Market Square, the Parish Church of Saints Bartlomeo and Michele, the Museum of Distillery.

When I see your photo, I want to travel to that palace. Italy..... there is a antique roman history and historical place in different area. I like your photography.

You use filters on tour DSLR ? That's getting rare.
Beh, secondo me un fotografo con un minimo di esperienza utilizza sempre "almeno" un filtro UV. Non per una reale utilità (perchè sia gli obiettivi moderni che le reflex sono già dotati di trattamenti per proteggere dai raggi UV) ma per proteggere l'obiettivo da urti accidentali. Il discorso cambia con i filtri polarizzatori che hanno tutta un'altra utilità, anche se noi cerchiamo sempre di ridurre al minimo l'impatto sulle foto per evitare effetti eccessivi sulla foto finale.
