Beautiful Places of Abkhazia(Photos and Story).
In Abkhazia there are a lot of beautiful places I want to show a few of them. Beautiful mountains surround this country. Also there is a lot of greenery growing here.
More than 60 nationalities live in Abkhazia, among them Abkhazians, Georgians, Armenians, Russians, Greeks, Germans, Jews, Poles, Estonians, and so on. The population of the country is about 250 thousand people.
In Abkhazia there is a unique atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else on the Black Sea coast. The unique virgin beauty of the subtropics, green mighty mountains with white snow tops, crystal clear waters in mountain streams and rivers, turquoise lakes and beautiful waterfalls.
Plants of the republic number more than 3500 species, among which there are tree forms, shrub and grassy. More than 50% of the territory is covered with forests.
Among the trees you can see palm trees, oaks and chestnuts.
In the mountains there are beech, fir, spruce, and at an altitude of 2000 meters, alpine meadows begin. In the forests of Abkhazia live bears, lynxes, wild boars, deer and roe deer. Jackals are found in the lowlands.
The climate of Abkhazia depends on its coastal position and the presence of high mountain ranges. If the coast has a humid subtropical climate and an average temperature of +24 degrees.
In the mountains at an altitude of 400 meters, this climate begins to smoothly shift into high-altitude zones. At an altitude of 2700 meters, there is eternal snow.
