Hypholoma fasciculare - Hat diameter from 15 to 120 mm, yellow with a darker (orange, brick) top, young convex, bell-shaped, then flat with a small umbo; dry and smooth surface; the shore often with the remains of the cover.
Lamellae in young fruiting bodies yellowish, yellowish green, in older olive-brown fruit; dense, of various length, rounded or adnate at the stipe.
Stem up to 100 mm high, slender, usually tapering downwards, less often wider at the bottom, bent; empty in the middle; breakable; surface covered with brown fibrils; oppressed brown
Ring in the form of a brown / brown streak; often invisible.
The flesh is yellowish, unchanging. Bitter taste. Smell unspecified (for some unpleasant) ..
Occurrence: Common from spring to late autumn; on the trunks of coniferous and deciduous trees.
Value: Very toxic. Do not try the taste test!
