Actually, I'm all pro EU. These are children of the communists, who used to (mis)govern the country until 1989. They are nicely interconnected with the mafia as well - in fact, they've created it themselves, to do their dirty work and keep the country under their control. If there were no EU funds, they'd keep shooting themselves, fighting over territory, as they did in the 90's.

Yes. And the people pretty much behave like peasants, governed by a king. They forget that the government officials are their servants.
A cycle that repeats through history. You just have to be born at the right time. But that time seems it would be very short.
