📷 Beijing. Jingshan Park

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

Jinshan Park is located in the heart of Beijing. The atmosphere in the city leaves much to be desired, so the sky is so gray and overcast with clouds and smog. They say that the sun in the city is seen very, very rarely, as much as the clear sky.

The main part of the park is a man-made hill with five peaks - Mount Jingshan, on which there are five pavilions.

In the west, the 40-meter White Bai Ta Stupa towers on the hill of Beihai Park.

The park is located opposite the Forbidden City — the vast palace complex, which was the residence of the emperors of China for half a thousand years. Its roof opens to us as we climb to the top of the hill.

From there you can clearly see the North Gate, or the Gate of Divine Power, and the square in front of them. Surprisingly, few people. Perhaps this is due to the fact that it is already evening, and this gate is not the main.

Now we are at the top, near the central pavilion - the Pavilion of Eternal Spring. There are quite a lot of tourists, but not so that it was not overcrowded. Mostly here are the Chinese themselves, as far as I could understand, the Europeans were almost invisible. And we, and they - all stand and admire the views around.

The cute chinese woman in a suit at the elegant fences with ribbons poses for the photographer. Well, everyone around, as it turns out, too) Her photographer, it seems, still had a camera, but I caught someone with a phone on the shot.

Tourists are not only interested in pavilions. Everyone wants to take pictures of flowering trees in early spring.

We leave outside the park. Last look at the yellow roofs, figured fence posts, reed wall ...
