Picture Stories #321 - Sweet Sunday
It's Sunday and weekends are usually my cheat days when I stray from my usual strict diet. I eat whatever I want in these two days, but mostly it happens to be on Sundays than on Saturdays, and it generally involves consuming my favorite food items. Sweets and desserts are my weakness, however I couldn't lay my hands on anything sweet for today so I'll just share a throwback picture from the time I gorged on some delicious and mouthwatering sugary delights.
The picture above includes one of my all-time favorite desserts called gulab jamuns; most of the items on the plate were yummy and I feasted on them with much relish.

I think we are all the same and cheat at weekends. Those look great and it would be a crime not to eat them.

On and off we can't stand and grab some sweet stuff, the picture you have immediately reminded me my son's favorite dessert, that is called "Quark ball donuts", golfball-sized balls originates from a batter blended with Quark for extra moisture and milky flavor, is deep fried, and then rolled in sugar. That is what he has only when we are in Germany visiting his Grandma. Like you we try to limit the sweets, it is easy to gain weight than to loose. Luckily for children due to good metabolism they burn out Carbs well :) Your plate looks really delicious !
