Most Beautiful Places In Croatia #10 - Cathedral Of St. Jacob

I'm continuing my serial.

And I have one more cathedral on the list.

After Zagreb, we're moving to the city on the shore.

It's called Šibenik.

And the cathedral is St. Jacob's.

The previous one was special because of it's height (and some other things, but mostly height), and this one is special in a different way.

In the wall of the cathedral, heads of people are sculpted.

And from what I know, those are heads from people that actually lived there.

That cathedral was builit in 15th century.

It would be amazing if people could see your head even after 500 or more years.

Also, it is on UNESCOs list of world heritage.

That has to mean something.

It is only one of the few on that list from Croatia.

And, it was actually damaged by a grenade in the war.

That part has been repaired, though.

I visited that place few times.

I remember visiting it with my parents when I was like 10yo.

And few years later, on a school trip.

I really liked the city of Šibenik.

It's a pretty nice city.

It has a lot to offer.

It is definitely great for the tourists.

You can visit great places, see some great archicture, and you can take a swim.

I would definitely recommend it for a visit.
