The thick fog just released the little island when I arrived. |

I took these pictures just a short time before yesterday's photos Subtle Sunday Morning / Feiner Sonntagmorgen. While there was no fog at the reservoir, there was still a relatively thick fog at the Linsendorfer See about a kilometer away, which, however, started to dissolve while I was taking the photos. |
Diese Bilder habe ich nur kurze Zeit vor den gestrigen Fotos geschossen - Subtle Sunday Morning / Feiner Sonntagmorgen. Während später der Stausee nebellos gewesen ist, herrschte etwa einen Kilometer entfernt noch relativ dichter Nebel am Linsendorfer See, der sich jedoch noch während ich die Fotos gemacht habe, aufzulösen begonnen hat. |

Due to the fog, the small island was very well isolated from the background and a beautiful and atmospheric picture was created. The orange hue in the photos comes from the sun, which was just beginning to rise and shine through the dissolving morning fog. | Durch den Nebel wurde die kleine Insel sehr gut vom Hintergrund isoliert und es ist ein schönes und stimmungsvolles Bild entstanden. Der orange Farbton in den Fotos kommt von der Sonne, welche gerade im Beginn war, aufzugehen und durch den sich auflösenden Morgennebel zu scheinen. |

Hier wirds wieder heiß 27° sind gemeldet, dann wirds wieder über 30°
Für Morgen ist etwas Regen angemeldet obs was wird steht in den Sternen.
Nun am Knochenende soll es dann auch wieder gewittern...... soll!
Glauben tu ichs erst wenn es wirklich kommt.

Bei uns schaut es nach einem mehr oder weniger bewölkten Wochenende mit eher frühlingshaften Temperaturen aus, aber kein Regen und kein Schnee ist angesagt. Soll der Frühling doch kommen - es wird ja wieder einen Winter geben in ein paar Monaten ;)

I like that shot, it gives an ethereal feel to the area, not a spooky Halloween type feel. It's one of those that if one took the time to watch the fog lift slowly they get to see a hidden reveal, perhaps the proverbial pot of gold that is found at the end of a rain bow, or that one would see the lady of the lake walk out from among the trees to enter the water. One of those pictures that a thousand stories can be started with or told from.
A few minutes after these photos the fog was gone, leaving an ordinary lake with a small tree island.
In Autumn and Winter there is often such a dense fog at this lake and when you are alone there it is almost like you are writing.
I can tell you, there's no gold at the end of a rainbow - on Monday I have been about 10 meters away from a rainbow and didn't see anything. But maybe the gold is only at the end of real rainbows, and my rainbow was only at a waterfall 🙄

You haven't seen the photos before - it was all as it is on the photos, but the water has been full of dirt. That was one of the hardest cleaning works I have ever done ;)

Right behind that island there's a little village at the lake which cannot be seen because of the fog. I think your drone would not come back if you fly it so early in the morning over these houses, if you know what I mean ;) ... but the idea is good though 👍
