Actually, I only made one resolution because I think from my own experience that such terminated resolutions don't work, but this one will. | Eigentlich habe ich mir nur nur einen einzigen Vorsatz vorgenommen, weil ich aus eigener Erfahrung denke, dass solche terminisierten Vorsätze nicht funktionieren, aber dieser wird es. |

I want to take more pictures and neglect my work even more. That may sound strange, but I just don't want to think about the office and work as much in my free time anymore, and when a phone call on the business SIM comes in, I don't want to always pick up in the future, but that's depending on who calls because certain colleagues only call when it is really important. | Ich möchte mehr fotografieren und meine Arbeit noch mehr vernachlässigen. Das klingt vielleicht komisch, aber ich möchte einfach in meiner Freizeit weniger an das Büro und an die Arbeit denken, und wenn das ein Telefonanruf auf der dienstlichen SIM kommt, dann will ich in Zukunft nicht mehr immer abheben - je nachdem, wer anruft, weil bestimmte Kollegen rufen nur an, wenn es wirklich wichtig ist. |

I also want to keep trying to post a photo every day, but I probably don't always have the latest photos. So far I have tried that my posts or the photos of my posts are not older than a few days. Of course, sometimes I made exceptions, and in the future I will make such exceptions more often. Hundreds of photos ended up in my archive over the course of the year and will now be gradually incorporated into my posts. Of course I want to stay up to date, but sometimes it just won't be possible, and I'll have to use older photos. | Außerdem möchte ich versuchen, weiterhin täglich einen Foto-Beitrag zu posten, aber wahrscheinlich nicht immer aktuelle Fotos dazu haben. Bis jetzt habe ich versucht, dass meine Beiträge beziehungsweise die Fotos zu meinen Beiträgen nicht älter sind als ein paar Tage. Manchmal habe ich natürlich auch Ausnahmen gemacht, und solche Ausnahmen werde ich zukünftig öfter machen. Hunderte von Fotos sind im Laufe des Jahres in meinem Archiv gelandet und werden nun nach und nach in meine Beiträge eingebaut werden. Natürlich möchte ich aktuell bleiben, aber manchmal wird es einfach nicht anders möglich sein, als ältere Fotos zu verwenden. |

cold coffee? I prefer hot coffee but with ice-cream. or simply drink coffee, accompanied with a cup of cold clear water in my second hand

Hot !COFFEEA with ice cream is good, but the latest invention of the !MARLIANS is hot coffee with ice cubes from !BEER which they offer in their !shop 😉
oh my!!! ice cubes of !BEER in the !coffeea?!!!!! hmmm... i have suspicions which I have to check... but probably I am not !deranged enough to do it myself! I just have to rely on you in this question.
Please don't rely on me, at least not in this case, because that might be a big mistake ;) lol

For the fireworks I have been quite too far away, but I liked the reflections in the lake. If they had not been I would have cropped the photos to show more of the fireworks.

My Favorite fireworks shots are one where you watching them across water with some reflections :)

Oh yes, these photos are stunning beautiful - you have had a good spot and these fireworks have been very beautiful too.

The year I took that shot we we were at one Beach with friends, us guys drinking cold !BEER, his Wife Drinking !COFFEEA picked up from a !shop it may have been from a !MARLIANS one I am not sure which is kind of !DERANGED

i like your nightly panoramas.
i like your decisions (resolutions, as you put it in mor eofficial way).
i totally support one of them -- do more photos and spend less time living the office life. I wish I could do the same. hm. well, since december 25 I am unemployed, so for a certain period I will neglect totally, any kind of the office work! (but I still will do some little extra book layout job).
tho I cant totally understand and adopt your self-restriction to share only the newest pics.. we can discuss it, if you want, but.... this will be a fruitless discussion, I think. but I understood your intention. for me, its just my empiric experience, I always like to post my latest stuff. but i do not take pics everyday, and quality editing of these !marlians really takes some time, not speaking about quality dedicated posts. so, quality old stuff in my opinion is more than welcome, always!

Did I say "quality old photos"? I said something like "old photos", but I didn't mention they are any good ;) lol
First I want to thank you so much that you like the fireworks, @qwerrie, and I also thank you for your nice and honest opinions on my post 🙂
I have always tried to post at least 2 or 3 days old photos, because I wanted to tell their stories as fresh as possible - as long as I still can remember everything ... if there was something to tell ;)
But it is as you say, I don't take pictures every day, and especially in the last weeks when we had so much rain and bad weather I didn't shoot much, but still I tried to post as fresh as possible, what hasn't been always possible ;)
This is, why I have decided to dig in my archive from time to time and search for the best photos which I will post then.
I hope, my !DERANGED words make any sense, but I could have said it shorter too: This discussion won't be fruitless, because I fully agree with you, @qwerrie 👍🙂
I hope you will find a new work soon, my friend, because being lazy or neglect work is one thing, but to have no work is another thing, which is not good over a longer period.
My work allows me to do private stuff whenever I have spare time. I will try to have more of this spare time in future by working faster and by delegating some work to colleagues, and when I am off work I will try not to think of it, because that just distracts me from photographing.
So, have I answered everything? I don't know, maybe ;)
I have just come home from a short hike and while I reply to the comments I could have the !COFFEEA I have got from you, or should I have the !BEER ?
