I almost had nothing to post today. That would have been the first day in a long time without a post from me. |

I spent the whole afternoon photographing water drops. Drops in blue and pink and then also mixed. I have got some really nice photos, but while editing the photos, I suddenly saw that the camera had apparently switched to automatic ISO setting on its own, or I accidentally hit a button. Therefore, all the photos are relatively noisy and even if I would be able to save some, I wouldn't be able to finish in time today. So I'm glad I saved a post with these macros on Steempeak some time ago. So after a long time today I show an insect macro today. |
Den ganzen Nachmittag habe ich damit verbracht, Wassertropfen zu fotografieren. Tropfen in Blau und in Pink und dann gemischt. Einige eigentlich schöne Fotos sind dabei herausgekommen. Vorhin beim Bearbeiten der Fotos habe ich aber plötzlich gesehen, dass die Kamera anscheinend selbständig auf automatische ISO Einstellung umgeschaltet hatte, oder ich bin versehentlich an einem Knopf angekommen. Daher sind alle Fotos relativ verrauscht und wenn ich vielleicht auch einige retten könnte, dann würde ich heute nicht mehr rechtzeitig fertig werden. Deshalb bin ich froh, dass ich vor einiger Zeit einen Beitrag mit diesen Makros auf Steempeak gespeichert hatte. Also gibt es heute seit langer Zeit wieder einmal ein Insektenmakro von mir. |

I found this one in another place and at a different time ;) | So eine Wanze habe ich bereits letzten Sommer gepostet, aber damals habe ich eine andere Beerenwanze fotografiert. Diese habe ich an einem anderen Ort und zu einer anderen Zeit gefunden ;) |

Ohh its so annoying isnt it when the camera has a mind of its own and changes settings assuming thats the case I always blame the camera LOl
but WOW these shots are awesome ;)
I don't drink !BEER anymore and never have had hot drinks myself,which some may say is !DERANGED
I cannot remember to have touched the ISO settings - I always have the camera on ISO 100 and only change that when it's too dark, but it was my own fault, of course.
The photos are noisy, but I think scaling down might help, because the noise will get smaller too ;) lol
This bug has been waiting for months to go public and I am very thankful that I had prepared the post on Steempeak.

A hot morning !COFFEEA is very important for me to wake up 😉
I shoot mostly on aperture priority mode when walking around the city, with ISO set to an auto range so the iso changes if the light isn't good, I kind of need to since i am not using a tripod and do morning walks mostly, I have to remember to change it when I go out with the tripod tot he beaches on weekends.
Its good to have some shots for post sin reserve for a quick post when needed

I shoot mostly on aperture mode too, but I have my ISO fixed, because I shoot on the tripod most of the times. When I shoot wildlife from time to time I go up to ISO 1000, but only if needed, because although they say my camera does not make bad noise on higher ISO values I don't like it. You'll see it in my tonight's post when I post some of the water drops from yesterday.
That bug was the only post I have had prepared ;)

Looking forward to seeing your water drop posts, I am quite happy with how my camera handles higher ISO's on my previous one i seldom went above 100 ISo but i know with this oneif needed I can go up to 8000 ISo, some noise but not to bad and can be worked with
Thea are better than my milk drops, but I think I have to practise more to press the shutter in the right moment.
I'll really have to think about a place where I can leave my stuff and don't need to clean up after shooting ;)
Lately I have tried to shoot with ISO 6400 because I needed a fast shutter speed for my long lens, but there has been too much noise in my eyes and so I didn't use the photos. What I have heard is your Sony much better ... when shooting with high ISO values ;) lol

Thats something I plan to do as well setup a small at home studio for shots like that
and the sony is good one of this mornings posts photos is ISO 8000 and not to bad

Yeah, I know you want to have a little studio in your new home. If you were my neighbor I would certainly visit you from time to time ;)
I should make a test with my Canon how high I can go before the noise gets too bad, but your's is surely better.

First day was just playing around with the settings, but yesterday was serious work 😉 and I failed completely. The ISO was at 1600 and I hardly ever use such a high ISO, but I think I'm going to post some of the photos tonight, because when I scale them down the noise is not that visible anymore ;)
