Bird macro photography (with action shots)

in #photography6 years ago

These evening I was able to capture shots of three different birds with my Canon 80D camera. The first bird is a Great Egret, which is part of the Heron family of birds.

The second set of shots is of a Red Shouldered Hawk, first perched on a fence and then on a tree without limbs. They mostly eat snakes and insects and hunt near bodies of water, which is where I was located.

The last set of shots are of black bellied whistling ducks. At first they were by a pond, then flew and joined a huge flock of ducks feeding on dead crops. Once I got a little closer, they decided to fly off, which are the action shots I was able to capture.

Wow, great photography.Excellent capture sir.

The photographs are really nice. Great angling. You do landscape and nature photography only?

Those are the two that I usually focus on because they are so readily available here in the swamp lands of Florida. But I like photographing anything that catches my eye in the right way. Thanks for the comment!

Sure mate! I will love to be in Florida some day

These are lovely pictures.

great experience, beautiful photographs, contact with nature in all areas leaves incredible satisfaction, to achieve photographs of the birds in flight is spectacular, I congratulate you I love your post.

Your shots are quite exquisite, its like i cant look at them enough, this is like a National Geography exhibition(pardon me im a huge Nat Geo wild fan) thats why i could identify that first bird, the Heron, then the Eagle ofcourse, you really know your camera, the shots are so crisp i can almost hear the shutter sound, do you always do nature photography?

As always @mistakili the animal lover.
I see you have a monkey as your avatar. 😀

Great pics and use of your camera. The photos are all very clear even the birds in flight, well done!
