Enjoy The Flowers on My Walk of Shame
These flowers are budding, but I'm doing the opposite. I'm forty years old. I feel great. I can still do everything I could when I was 25, but see my phone or computer screen. I've been using the big iPad Pro with HUGE text, so I never noticed until now.
Everyone is scared locked up in their houses here in Luang Prabang, so no one is messing with or picking the flowers.
You can't tell in this photo, but the sun is setting behind the umbrella for the spirit house. It was the perfect metaphor for the situation. At least I'm not residing in the spirit house yet.
We are all like this flower in a way. Blowing in the wind. Trying to keep up our form in this crazy world.
I wished I was here to buy cool guy glasses like these.
I sat down here, but the eye doctor said this wasn't for reading glasses.
She tried three different powers, but the first one was best, .75.
She said to choose a frame and to wait ten minutes to fit the lenses. It was a hard choice because they were all ugly.
Might as well enjoy a dark beer while waiting for my old man glasses.
And snap some more flower pictures before the sun goes down.
Do you like my glasses? Not bad for $11 right?
Thanks for enjoying the flowers and reading my story today. Have a fun day and try to see the positive in bad situations.
