THE BANIG OR WOVEN MATS VENDOR
A lone banig or woven mats vendor in San Rapael Village Davao City is struggling to sell his product.
Selling woven mats nowadays is no easy business the demand for these native product have steadily dropped ever since the soft mattress introduced by the Westerners are more preferred and used by more people in the country. woven mats are either made from wild pandan or anahaw leaves.
Even though it is hard and difficult Kuya Dan is still determined to sell his product in order to make ends meet.
