Urban Deprivation - Abandoned City
Urban deprivation, due to lack of material benefits? What is the real social reason for abandoning such an architectural gem? I think it has never been established a serious study of the case, the reality is that nobody cares... The structure somehow resists, we can appreciate the details and the simplicity of the design and the typical balcony still...
I really don't know if this beautiful abandoned house will be there next year. What a pity...!

We have alot of graffiti in america too, some of it is done nicely. But most is just edgy trash.
Thats nice old architecture sucks to see it going to waste.

Ποσο όμορφή νότα είναι ολα αυτα τα παλαιά κτήρια μέσα στο γκρι και την ιδιομορφία μιας πόλης!? Και πόσο όμορφα χτισμένα, σου δίνουν την αίσθηση μιας αλλης εποχής πολύ μακρινής απο το σημερα. Και στην πόλη μου υπάρχουν αρκετά παλαιά νεοκλασικά και υπηρεσίες τόσο όμορφα και δυστυχώς είναι κρίμα που κάνεις δε νοιάζεται για την συντήρηση τους.. Πολυ όμορφη φωτογραφία! Καλη συνέχεια εύχομαι!

Δυστυχώς, η νοοτροπία δεν επιτρέπει την απόλαυση αυτής της νοτας από όμορφα συντηρημένα παλαιά κτήρια. Οι εποχές σημαδευονται και από τα κτήρια τους τα οποία πολλές φορές μαρτυρούν την απογυμνωμενη αλήθεια της κοινότητας. Η αδιαφορία για το παλαιό όμορφο κτήριο είναι ευθέως ανάλογη προς την απαξίωση της ιδιαίτερης ταυτότητας και της ομαλής εξέλιξης του κοινωνικού ιστού. Το γκρι, το στείρο μπετόν και ο ολοκληρωτικος, αυταρχικός εγκιβωτισμος αποτελούν εδώ και δεκαετίες την κυρίαρχη τάση και διαμορφώνουν την επικρατούσα νοοτροπία. Το όμορφο σε πολλές περιπτώσεις γίνεται ενοχλητικό οπότε αφήνεται να αργοπεθαίνει. Αργά ή γρήγορα θα γίνει ένα ακόμα οικόπεδο φιλέτο στις προθήκες των μεσιτων. Είναι αμφίβολο αν η εποχή μας κατανοεί ότι σκοτώνοντας την κληροδοτημενη ομορφιά του αστικού τοπίου σκοτώνει τα όνειρα μιας άλλης εποχής για ένα αύριο πιο γαλήνιο, εμπνευστικο και πάνω απ' όλα ανθρώπινο. Το αύριο αυτό είναι σήμερα κι ίσως είναι σκόπιμη η αδιαφορία για να χαθεί οριστικά κάθε αναφορά στην ομορφιά και στην ποιότητα ζωής!
