Street Snapshot
June 2016. The everyday life in Athens historic center, this was the main purpose of that photo-safari. I took a lot of nice photos that day. The natural light was quasi-perfect, the temperature optimal for the walker and the quiet evolution of the everyday life was what a photographer is looking for this kind of photos. There were not a lot of people, just enough tourists but fortunately not the crowds. The ambiance was joyful and people were smiley and relaxed. I choose this photo to share with you as I like a lot the colors composition and the moment. I hope you enjoy it wishing you a nice and creative Friday!!!

Hi! @jmjury Thanks a lot for your nice comment!!! I worked a lot on this project, a photo experiment of advanced reality and I m happy to read your nice words. Colors and highlights was a challenge and the natural light that day was a bit intense for the purpose of the experiment. I tried various technics and finally, I think the result is good. I'm 50/50 on the painterly look of the photo. I like how it highlights the street, but the sky is a bit too trippy for me.

(all kind of evaluations are a matter of subjectivity when it comes to art) As long as I am not selling this photo on demand, I m personally very satisfied with the result, it was what I had in mind when I took this photo two years ago!
