Photography 21 | Unexpected Urban Art at Takeshita Dori!♥| 想外の都市芸術
Before we traveled to Japan last April, we searched for a nice urban places in Tokyo to shoot during golden hour. One of the places we have found was on Harajuku. So we set a schedule to make an early morning visit.
Unfortunately, we totally forgot that the sun rises very early in Japan. So when we woke up at 5am one morning, we were surprised that it is already blue hour! Bummer! But since we were already awake, we just continue and start our day and still go to Harajuku.
(But we went back to Harajuku during later that day for some golden hour photos. You can check our previous post Photography 14 | Golden Hour at Harajuku / 原宿でゴールデンアワー) ♥♥♥
When we arrived at Takeshita Dori, the sun is already high up. Good thing it wasn't that hot during that time. We roamed around the area and little did we expect that we will be enjoying our time there. There are several closed shopfronts with graffitis on them!
I really think that graffiti are cool urban art, though most of it done without the consent of the property owner, thus not really well accepted by most people.
In this case, I really hope that the owners are fine with this. It looks cool for us anyway.☺
