Goa Diaries Part 1- Agonda Beach

The truly undiscovered gem of a beach in the State of Goa, India.

Agonda is a huge village located in Canacona district in South Goa and is one of the only four turtle nesting designated sites due to which it is very famous among foreign travelers as it is mostly covered by lush green forests & mountains from all the side. The local residents of Agonda are very receptive, social and fun to be with. There is one more beach on the other side of Agonda cliff called Cola beach, which has an adjoining lagoon on left side and to the right side another beautiful and happening beach called Palolem.

One of the best beach huts right in the heart of Agonda beach, it's a home away from home.

USEFUL INFORMATION FOR FIRST TIME TRAVELERS-

Dabolim Airport is approximately 90 minutes drive from Agonda Paradise.

Agonda is only a few kilometres from Canacona Railway Station, although major trains stop at Margao Station, which is about an hour’s drive from Agonda.
