Good afternoon, everyone!
Today I try with a new theme, which is the merscusuar lamp built by the Dutch government in 1877 and until now is still intact and firmly standing tall in the island of Breueh in the Aceh archipelago.

This historic monument was built to signify a region or port. From the top of this tower you can enjoy the panoramic beauty of Indonesia's westernmost tip. Willem Toren who is behind the Meulingge Gampong forest, Pulo Aceh, Aceh Besar District, is a heritage tower of the Dutch Government that was built in 1875. The lighthouse adopted the name King Luxemburg at that time, Willem Alexander Paul Frederik Lodewijk (King Willem III).

The 85-meter-high round tower is reportedly only three in the world. In addition to Pulo Aceh, similar towers also exist in the Netherlands and the Caribbean Islands. But what in the Netherlands has functioned as a museum, while the other two are still active.

The journey to Willem Toren Pulo Aceh is quite challenging. The main route to get there is in front of Meulingge Public Elementary School.

There is a piece of road that divides the forest to the tower. The road began to narrow with thickets, full of slopes and derivatives. Sprinkled with pits and rocks.

visit Pulo Breuh the weather is sunny, making it possible to climb on a motorcycle to the end of the island where the tower stands. The distance is less than one hour.

Over and over again, our motorbike fell into a hole in a puddle and tripped over a rock. Need extra concentration, especially when in derivatives, because wrong-wrong can slide into the abyss. "You have to use first gear," said Husaini, a local youth who guided us.

The tiring journey finally paid off with the beauty of nature in the Willem Toren complex. After passing through the gate, there are several Dutch heritage buildings being rehabilitated.

At its end stands a giant giant red white tower towering up to one meter thick. This is Willem Toren.

As soon as we get permission from the officers there, we go straight into stepping on hundreds of steps to the top of the tower. On the wall there are several windows coated in thick glass.

Tired of climbing the stairs immediately lost when at the top of the tower. Beautiful scenery is presented from behind a glass room in which a giant spotlight is installed which can go round and round.

These lights will light up at night, firing light up into the international currents of the Indian Ocean and the entrance to the Malacca Strait. It functions as a sea traffic regulator which is often crossed by large ships.

"This light gives a code to the middle of the sea," said Erlando, navigation officer and guardian of Willem Toren Pulo Aceh.

Outside the glass room there is a round terrace around the iron fence, the coolest place to enjoy the soothing sea breeze, and the panoramic view of Pulo Aceh.

The green-blue sea seemed to stretch to the horizon, glowing with the sun. Small islands like floating in the Indian Ocean. Looking down there is a land covered with trees leading to the sea. The waves wrestle with the coral giving rise to white foam.

Facing the north, weh Island is seen, Sabang extends blue across the sea, on top of it is white clouds. From a distance Rondo, the outermost island in Indonesia without residents, was guarded by the Navy and marine navigation officers.

Gazing at the south side is a stretch of green hills jutting into the sea. Beautiful white froth on the rocks at the foot of the land. Clear water that slopes at the edges gives rise to a mixture of turquoise and greenish white sand and submerged coral.

In the east there are some elongated Dutch heritage buildings, then green hills and the end of the mainland jutting into the sea. It's an exotic sight. Enjoy this destination, in fact you will find the satisfaction of scenic natural attractions.

Thanks!
