Don't ask me why, but I find slugs (and snails) adorable! With the little dummy faces, gazy eyes and big, fatty bodies.
I even used to keep one in a box for a few days and was feeding him with lettuce just to see him eat :) Later he was released to the lawn.
This one I found on the wall. A bit of a crazy place for a slug, especially at noon on a very hot, spring day.
This maybe not the most flattering angle, but look at the pattern.

you managed to get GRIP so precisely at its eyes and 'face', that the angle looks optimal and the only possible. I love it. a strange shape of the shell, tho. I cant recognise it. is that a mutant-snail??
I dont like slugs (never take a pic on any, so... maybe I may change my mind, at least partly, in terms of macro), but snails are COOOOOOOOL. have you ever checked all the spectre of meanings, the snails are the symbols of?..

I like them too. I feel bad getting rid of them but it's them or my garden and I tell myself that the ones I am killing are invasive species anyway. I never kill the cute little unicorn native snails
