Life under the sea is far better than anything else on the land
Somehow these photos remind me of our childhood favourite Disney movie –The Little Mermaid. The lead character in The Little Mermaid – Ariel traded her beautiful voice with Ursula, the sea witch for a pair of legs in order to get a chance to approach a man she fell in love with. She knew she wanted to become a human so she followed her heart and abandoned her under-the-sea life. And that sacrifice was overwhelmingly enormous. The biggest lesson from the story is perhaps to always go after your dreams no matter how impossible they may seem. Dreams stay as dreams if you don’t fight for what you want. In the end, she got what she wanted: a life on land as a real human. However, she went through a lot of struggles while living life as a human. Life’s like that, don’t you think? Although The Little Mermaid does not have a happy ending we all hope for as the prince married a different woman in the end, I believe that Ariel did not regret her decision at all.
Back to our story, just like Ariel, she tried hard to fulfil her dreams. However, life loves to play with our affection. Life is full of ups and downs. When we think that our life is going well, soon a bad thing befalls us. Endless obstacles await her. A part of her is telling her to stay strong, but another part of her regrets her decision and wishes to go back to the initial point like nothing has ever happened. She looks at the sea as if life under the sea is easier and better than life on land...
