The World of Natural Healing series - Technology

Some people just don’t like nature, for reasons like the hot sun, bugs, damp clothing, and acing pains from long walks. Whatever the reason, they think that there’s a better way of living that does not have to pertain to nature. Some people say that we as humans don’t need nature the same way are ancestors need nature. This is true in a sense that we no longer live as our old ancestors. We evolved and developed a way to manipulate our environment to make life easier and for the better. In time we evolved more and more, the technology became more complex. “Villages became towns; towns became cities” (Nebbe, Linda Lloyd 15). Surly in a high teach world there is tiny need for this nature; very little people suffer from anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional problems right?

“Modern technology has given us a false feeling of power over our own destiny and, at the same time, left many feeling confused and empty. Many children today are more alienated from their worlds than their parents are” (Nebbe, Linda Lloyd 4). Having this will Cause emotional problems for many people around the world. Many are having false understandings of the outside world; children live their outdoor experiences on the screen of the television (Nebbe, Linda Lloyd 4).

Adults and children alike live their lives on screens and many other ways of avoiding the benefits of the natural world. The side effects of living a life without nature is a catastrophic event. Not knowing that there’s a world that surrounds us that can heal tragic injuries with just the simplicity of walking outside.

So true , I need my nature. Offices are not good for mental well being :D

For me, preserving the natural beauty and resources of our planet is paramount. We take for granted the splendor of Mother Nature. I'm sure that many of use feel helpless at times and ask ourselves, what can I do, I am only one person.
This thought process is the problem.
Remember one thing, there is strength in numbers and by every one doing something, changes will occur. Apathy will be the reason for our failure.
As the old saying goes, "It is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all.
I have posted many articles on man's treatment of our planet and have made suggestions on how you, yes you, can get involved. Supporting groups like https://4ocean.com/ is a simple way to show that your are pro Mother Nature. The clock is ticking and the hour of now return is approaching.
What will man's legacy be in regards to our treatment of our fragile planet.
Great post.
