The warm foggy morning called me out early.

Nothing is more satisfying than a stroll around the farm at the crack of dawn on a beautiful spring morning. The air is fresh, and the birds are busy, but there are no bugs yet.

The litany of chores waiting didn't worry me one bit. This is what farming is.

New goat babies means starting the day de-horning, then mowing, cleaning of the exterior of the house... it can't all get done in one day, but what a day to try.
