Why is it so hard for humans to handle chaos in nature?

It's interesting how nature photographers always claim to love nature, but are constantly looking for patterns, symmetry or lines to make their composition "perfect". Why aren't we able to embrace the natural "chaos"?

Have you ever wondered about this too? Let me know your thoughts.

You raise an extremely important and interesting issue.
Of course... your own photos exemplify the overall harmony (proportional balance) that makes art art. There is no beauty in nature (at least on the level at which we experience it), but wonderful images like these redeem nature from this perceptual chaos. Plus, they're wonderfully abstract, which always implies an understanding of structural regularities (as complex as these might be). A pleasure to find you here.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and this great comment.

I like these shots, especially the 2 b&w ones.

The question you bring reminds me of this video from Ben Horne, an 8x10 color film landscape photographer with a talent for documenting his process in an entertaining and inspiring way. I recommend checking him out if you don't know about his channel already.
