This is my third and final entry to the Steemit Photo Challenge for long exposure photography.

This image was taken in New Zealand (New Plymouth), at the Taranaki Festival of Lights. It is a very iconic festival for what is a pretty small city, and probably our biggest event of the year. It causes a lot of attention and some people come to New Zealand with this festival as one of their checkboxes on their list of things to do. For people who live in the city, it is great for a few nights out each summer. Bands play in the park almost every night, and boats can be hired to row across the lake. There is definitely a lot more to do at Pukekura park, but you will have to visit yourself and see what else is there!

One of my favourite places in the park is by this waterfall. It is a very famous waterfall in the park, and hopefully the picture can show you why! It is always changing colours, and at night time it always looks amazing.

I love how it is a blend of both nature's beauty and beauty created by humans. The water flowing off the bank fits so well with the artificial lights that reflect off the waters surface.
