I myself wonder how such photos turned out with a whale lens. Only of course it's a crop. I hope for this summer to get a macro lens 8)
Even with such a wide lens you had to have been pretty close right?
I wholeheartedly recommend getting a macro lens, I do have a bit of a bias though!
Yeah, the biggest difficulty with my lenses is to get as close to the insect as possible and not frighten it away. Often they fly away 8))
